uniswap foundation news

  • uniswap foundation community call (12.19): december’s community call is today at 9am pst. this month’s agenda includes: uniswap foundation updates with bita abolfathi, builder updates from angela ocando, an overview of the uniswap foundation governance security review grant from blockful’s executive director alexandro netto, a demo of the recent hookathon winning project, tenor, with hugo, and hooks of the month with sauce. 
  • new uniswap foundation hire: in december, jackie zhang joined the uniswap foundation team as head of data science, where she’s exploring how data can shape narratives, drive strategy, and help push defi forward.

uniswap hook incubator cohort 3, presented by atrium academy, wrapped up with a record-breaking 89 developers. 57 hooks. and $43,000 in prizes awarded. last week’s demo day was packed with inspiring hook implementations and ambitious ideas. 

 

from dynamic fee hooks to ai agent index funds and integrations with eigenlayer, arbitrum, and brevis, the submissions pushed the boundaries of what’s possible with programmable money. here’s a look at some of the top projects.  

 

arbitrum prize winners

  • dynamicshield: protects lp returns by cutting impermanent loss, converting idle assets, and reinvesting during market upswings. ($4,500)
  • dynamic lp assurance: collects insurance fees and enables flash loans to safeguard liquidity providers. ($3,500)
  • ember: stabilizes volatility by lowering fees in calm markets and raising them when chaos hits. ($2,500)

eigenlayer prize winners

  • uniguard: builds risk management and insurance tools for uniswap hooks. ($4,500)
  • unicow v2: brings decentralized CoW swaps to uniswap v4 with inter-pool matching and eigenlayer security. ($3,500)
  • rwasync: bridges real-world assets by batching swaps and executing at oracle-driven prices. ($2,500)

brevis prize winners

  • autopilot: uses machine learning to adjust fees in real time, shielding lps during volatility and boosting trades in calm markets. ($3,500)
  • liquidity rewards: zk-proofs unlock rewards for lps contributing at least 5000 usdc which, in turn, incentivizes cross-platform liquidity. ($2,500)
  • lever: auctions impermanent loss risk for better returns and deeper liquidity in trading pools. ($1,500)

  • copool: lets lps pool assets or delegate management while optimizing yields and reducing trading costs. ($1,500)
  • fixed/leverage yield: splits lp shares into guaranteed returns or leveraged speculation, catering to all risk appetites. ($1,500)
  • auction managed amm & active range incentives: incentivizes active liquidity ranges and auctions for any currency. ($1,000)
  • silicon vision fund: ai-managed hedge funds that let you play portfolio whisperer while the robots make the trades. ($1,000)
  • vifi: unites fragmented liquidity and local stablecoins to deliver the best fx rates for african and latam businesses. ($1,000)
  • white belt hook: brings price certainty and stability to uniswap with centralized exchange-style limit orders. ($1,000)

  • tenor: enables fixed-rate swaps and fully on-chain lending pools for predictable earning opportunities. ($2,000)
  • battleswaps: turns trading into a multiplayer game with token and nft prizes for top-performing traders. ($2,000)
